Hi everyone, this is a long story:

I bought this AX3200 desktop (#1) originally for home use but it ended up in my working office.

There's is a software that requires to run on XP Pro at my workplace instead of the Vista 64Bit it came with.

I encountered a lot of problems while trying to install with my XP Pro CD (New, not registered online or anything). Every time I tried to install it gave me BSOD 0x0000007B

Read a little bit online about how to fix it, I formatted the HD(WD caviar SE-16) on my other desktop (#2) and installed the XP pro successfully. I also installed the chipset driver (GeForce 8200) for AX3200's motherboard while the HD is connected to desktop#2.

Everything runs smoothly until next step.

However, when I put the HD back to AX3200, it will startup, show windows logo for about 3 secs, and then show me again the BSOD 0x0000007B.

    What can I do now?

    I have been thinking:
    1. Install a RAID/SCSI driver from a floppy disk, but there's is no place for me to connect it to mobo on AX3200

    2. Install the RAID/SCSI driver when HD is connected to desktop#2, is it going to work like this?

    Hello Ushio,

Quick question. Do you have a Windows XP Professional Install CD, because if i would be you, install your Raid/SCSI driver slipstreamed into your installation medium. :) That way you won't have that issue. Or at least shouldn't.

Really good software. Give it a try, makes it easier to slipstream information into a ISO.

    Thank you very much guys.

Elder, I do have a Win XP Pro CD, and I will try to figure out how to streamline it into the installing process.

I think I need to put in both CD-ROM driver and the raid/SCSI HDD driver into it after reading Cat's post.
    Thank you there, cat :)

I tried to use usb floppy disk drive after press F6, but it didnt work for me.

    Just gonna keep on trying.

    Thank you

I don't think xp will check anything other than a floppy that's not usb...so slipstreaming is probably your best option.

    Aight,

I streamlined the mobo chipset driver into the bootdisc
    Thx a lot, Elder.

It passed the test on the first part. The windows install setup actually successfully loaded all of the drivers and showed "Starting up Windows...."

    BSOD followed it immediately.

    Looking for answers online now...

I totally believe there's lotta ppl having same problem with this damn windows.......

I checked some of the solutions on forum. I cannot use most of them because I dont even have a OS on this HDD yet...
I will try to connect this HDD back to my desktop#2 and format it. chkdsk it. hope it will revive.....

    God bless.

Ok, I cant find the edit post button again. So i have to post another one in my thread :p

Format the HDD, chkdsk says its doing fine, no bad areas.

Does that mean I should slipstream more drivers into the bootCD? or what else can I do?

    Just found thread
