Installing windows "biosinfo.inf cannot be loaded"

    I am trying to install windows, but I have to use boot disks because the CD I have won't boot. When I stick the first disk in and turn it on, it says "Setup is configuring files..." or whatever it says, then tells me biosinfo.inf could not be loaded, error code 528

    Anyone know what is causing this?

    EDIT: Saying the same thing, but the error code is now 519.

    What operating system are you trying to install?

    What happens when you try to boot with the CD?

    Have you tried another boot disk?

    Issue resolved. It ended up being a bent pin on the Floppy drive, swapped out the drive and it went on without a hitch.
