Installing windows pro sp3 need help!

hi i am trying to load a new windows because my computer bit messed up.
windows xp pro sp3.

i put the cd in and it runs fine but when try do from my computer restart it does not boot.

i have change the bios so that my cdrom is boot piority.

but all i get is boot from cdrom_

and it trys and then loads windows xp os.

i dont know what i am doing wrong does it matter like ages ago i changed my cd drive so is a combo dvd/cd.

is that it won't boot dvdr.

Is this an original Install disc or a copy?

Also when booting do you not see the "to boot from cd press any key" message?

Did you burn the disc as an ISO image file ?

 

it was daa. file coverted it into an iso image using iso power

it said at the bottom as well it was bootable

 

I assume you have nlited your install disc or similar?

Maybe you have gone too far and removed something you shouldnt have?

Or (and excuse me if im wrong) is this a downloaded version of XP?

You download an illegal pirate copy of XP and wonder why it doesn't work? :|

Buy a copy of windows, that is my advice to you!

have copy windows on my computer and the company i bought computer from are out business i need windows quickly if i get hold recovery cd i would of but this was the only thing i could do and i am a student i only have internet on my laptop in safe mode my internet won't work from main computer fine that weird but i just want to clear my computer. e.g broke

so i need help asap i need to get this sorted.

 

if you can borrow any legit Xp disk,you should be able to do a Repair/recovery installation,all you'll need is to have your product key # handy,just in case
