Installing Windows updates....

I have the updates for WinXP SP2 already downloaded on my PC. Is there a way to install them with having to run each .exe individually? Can I copy them to the same folder that Automatic Updates uses, then enable Automatic Updates, then when I shut down, will it give me the option to install them? Or is there another way to do this- maybe write a batch file that says something like "run all the .exe files in this folder and reboot when finished". I've never written a batch file so, if that's the way to go, some help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

PS- I had a thread awhile back about this same topic but I got sidetracked and it died....

    Any ideas?
How about slipstreaming the updates into an XP install CD?

    THANK YOU!!!
That is one of the best, most informative links I've been linked to in some time! It pretty much covers EVERYTHING I've been wondering about doing a custom offline Windows update. Thanks again. You freekin' rock.
