Installing XP over Vista

    I have just purchased a new Acer Aspire 5315 laptop. Vista was preinstalled and works fine. The first thing I wanted to do when I got it home was install XP Pro but guess what. After loading all of the setup files the setup program displays "Setup cannot find a hard drive in your computer". The drive is a Hitachi HTS542580.
