InstallShield Wizard is frozen at 0%

    I tried to uninstall netgear on my computer and the InstallShield Wizard froze at 0%. I cannot close out of the wizard box or cancel the process. I am also having trouble shutting down the computer. :confused

    Hey sierra,

    The system restore feature may have become corrupted (not sure of a fix).

    Try creating a restore point. If you receive an error message, it's corrupted.
    If this occurs, go to control panel/admin tools/services.
    Locate Volume Shadow Copy and set the startup type: to disabled.
    Reboot
    reboot again to see if the problem clears with shutting down.
