"InstallSpy" Download (for XP) - *"OUTDATED"*?

On the main list of AS progs, this word; "Outdated" is at the end of the description for InstallSpy (InstallSpy 2.0 from "2BrightSparks"), however not mentioned within the download page once that is accessed.

Is this prog worth a shot on a older (9 yr-old, from 2002), XP SP3 (Basic/Home) machine, as an install, run, and uninstall, please?

* Side-note: I just yesterday had IBOT's Malware Fighter www.majorgeeks.com/IObit_Malware_Fighter_d6088.html find a "Backdoor-Trojan" on my VISTA machine that all others I had tried did not find (including MBAM and SAS)
