Instant Messaging Programs For Websites?

Hi,

I am looking for a decent instant messaging program for a website that I'm working on. It's a members' website for people who love to cruise. Freeware would be great but I'm also willing to pay for a good product that bypasses security software/anti-pop-ups. I really don't want to have to ask members to disable their security software. Any good suggestions?

Why not just add a Chat Room to your site?
If you do a Google search for freeware chat rooms you'll get a lot of choices...just be careful, as always!

thanks. I've got a chat room already. Really wanting the personal touch of an im environment within the site.

Note: the free version has an ad window at the bottom of the messenger...so I guess you could say it's 'Ad Supported' in the same way free Yahoo! email accounts are. You get ads on the bottom of the emails you send. Hotmail does that as well, I believe.
