I had to reformat my computer and of course I thought I had everything I needed backed up, but I didn't look up what drivers were installed before starting.
SO here i am without my driver disc for my motherboard and I've been searching and doing trail and error installs from websites to figure out what to do.

This is a custom built machine, and according to the intel chipset identifier I have:
    Detected Chipset:
    Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset
    Chipset Components
    Memory Controller:
    82G965
    I/O Controller:
    Intel(R) 82801HH I/O controller hub (ICH8DH)

    Integrated Graphics:
    Not Detected or Disabled

    Looking atDetected Chipset:
    Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset

    Chipset Components

    Memory Controller:
    82G965

    I/O Controller:
    Intel(R) 82801HH I/O controller hub (ICH8DH)

    Integrated Graphics:
    Not Detected or Disabled

After finding out this information Intel's website did provide the chipset express install which provided my ethernet driver (so now i can be online), but my video and sound do not work.

I tried looking up PCI information, but I am running in circles.

    Drivers I'm Missing:

Audio Device and High Def. Bus:
    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7627&SUBSYS_80862504&REV_1002\4&7142837&0&0201

    Multimedia Audio Controller:
    PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0007&SUBSYS_10061102&REV_00\4&35FAE160&0&10F0

    Multimedia Video Controller:
    PCI\VEN_14F1&DEV_8800&SUBSYS_00F81002&REV_03\4&35FAE160&0&08F0

    Simple Communications Controller:
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29A4&SUBSYS_514D8086&REV_02\3&61AAA01&0&18

    Video Controller VGA Compatible:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01DF&SUBSYS_1FE219F1&REV_A1\4&31E9B436&0&0008
Any help at all would be great, and I will keep up my search.
As of right now my computer is a little goofy...

I already did, and I've been trial and erroring through installs trying to figure it out.
I've also downloaded the chipset graphic controller and it tells me i do not meet system requirements.
I've also tried the autodetect on intel and nvida

    Hi

as a custom build PC, what is the Motherboard make and model as thise can determine the correct drivers to use, as many Motherboard makers use customised chipsets and drivers from the OEM like Intel etc

Can get the info on Motherboard make and model by using Everest, just need the Motherboad name found in Eversts > Computer > Summary > name next to Motherboard Name

    Hi

Here are the drivers for the IntelĀ® Desktop Board DG965WH

Install the Chipset Driver (no2 in list) then no4 no5 and no6

Then see what you're missing in Device Manager.
