Intel Ac 9560 Adaptor Disappeared From The Device Manager

I am not sure if this is a hardware or software issue.

I have a HP Spectre laptop with Windows 10 on it. The network adapter, Intel AC 9560, was greyed out (lighter blue color than normal) in the Device Manager. I uninstalled the adapter and then scanned for hardware changes but it did not reappear. I also did the network reset and it still did not show up. I have tried reinstalling the driver software as well as rebooting the laptop numerous times, still nothing. The Belarc Advisor did not have network adapters listed in the output.

Is there something else I can try? How do I know if this is a hardware or software issue? If need be, can I replace it myself?
