I just upgrade my PC to a Intel DP43TF and Q9650 and 2 GIGS Memory Kingston DDR2 800 MHZ.

The first problem i had it's when i flash my motherboard with the lastest Bios
077 all my fan when realy fast and slow down every 5 seconds.

So i downgrade to 075 problem fix for the fan.

But now from time to time when i reboot i get the message that my registry
was corrupt and the computer take the backup to continue booting.

Beside that no freeze or error message or blue screen.

    OS: Windows XP Pro SP3

And one others thing on a anothers hard disk i have windows 7 Build 7077
install But it FREEZE always after 5 minutes hard FREEZE i have to click the reset button on my computer to reboot......

So in conclusion i think the BIOS need some fixing.....

    what do you think ???

Have you run a diagnostic such as memtest86 or the equivalent? I have seen that registry problem crop up when there are issues with the sticks. Might not be it, but worth a shot, right?

    I just did the memtest86.

    3 pass and NO error...

No red at all, eh? Usually I let it run at least 10 passes to be sure. That's probably one issue eliminated.

You may very well have a BIOS issue, but something is writing errors to the HDD for some reason.

I must ask, are you positive the memory you installed is compatible. Is this mobo dual-channel?

And you definitely purchased a dual channel kit?

You didn't mention if you did in your initial post.

Using everest that what the program say:

    Serial Number 6CCCE709h (166186092)
    Module Type Unbuffered DIMM
    Memory Type DDR2 SDRAM
    Memory Speed DDR2-800 (400 MHz)
    Module Width 64 bit
Refresh Rate Reduced (7.8 us), Self-Refresh

    Memory Slots

    DRAM Slot #1 1 GB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
    DRAM Slot #2 1 GB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)

That's good info, BUT, when you purchased these, did you buy them specifically as a dual channel kit, or did you buy them separately and order 2?

    I buy them separately !!!

But i fix my Freeze problem with windows 7 i have change my resolution down to 1024X768.

No freeze after 1 hour..... :)

So, we could be looking at a GPU issue? That's with W7. We still haven't ferreted out the reason for the registry errors. It could be you shutting the PC down by pushing the button. That doesn't allow for alot of things that should happen to occur.

These sticks, though identical, may be giving you a headache. I would have to confer with a higher power, as I am not entirely familiar with the concept of dual channel memory. I came up with Rambus RIMM memory, the precursor to dual channel, but not exactly the same principle.
