Intel Wireless Card Comparision

    Hi fellow geeks,

    Can you tell me the difference between;
    Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260
    and
    Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

    I have linked their pdf product brief sheet to them. In particular I'm interested in learning what is meant by 2x2 Wi-Fi in the 8260 and 1x1 Wi-Fi in the 3165.

    I tried to chat with Intel to find out this information, but it seems like most of us right now, they are on vacation.
