Intellipoint 5.0

Gotta love the MS product delivery. They tell nothing up front what the new version does, even when it removes major functionality of old version.

Short version - Intellipoint 4.1 lets you define any keys you want for the thumb buttons. And you can have different settings for each game, which is very convenient. 5.0 does neither.

So if your brand new game does not recognize mouse buttons 4 and 5, you're SOL. Good thing is I usually keep old versions of drivers..

Oh, and the damn thing crashes every 2 minutes while I use forward-backward thumb buttons while web browsing.
