Interchangable CD drives on Inspiron 8500 and 510m

    Hi,
    I my brother left his inspiron 510m with me for the summer. I was just wondering if i am able to take his DVD-RW drive and put it into my Inspiron 8500. Are both machines compatable?

    Never mind i just swaped them over and they worked perfectly.
