For the last few weeks, I suddenly lose Internet connection every few days. The network icon in the toolbar looks normal (no red X, blue circle or yellow triangle) and if I click on it, it says I have Internet access. I found if I unplug the modem and reboot it, I can re-establish the connectivity, but it doesn't seem to me that I should have to keep doing this. Is this most likely a problem with my modem, computer or my ISP?

What is the brand and model of modem?
    About how old is it?
    Who is your ISP?

    Hi

Have you spoken to your ISP yet, I would do so. If you have neighbours who have same ISP ask them if they are having issues as it could be an issue with telecoms exchange or cable route, can happen when roadworks, weather has caused issues.
