All of a sudden maybe once a week or so I get a message that my F: drive is disconnected. This is an internal 3TB drive I use for backing up my C: drive. It isn't visible in my windows explorer. Accidently discovered that when I restart the computer all is back to normal. Would like to figure out why this happens, if it means anything and how to prevent it.

You should start by making sure the cables are securely fastened. You could even replace them to make sure they are good too. Then back up any data on it you don't want to lose.

That is used as my backup drive where the C: drive is copied to and Macrium stores images on. I also make backups on a removeable SSD drive so I am good as far as backups. Just want to get this figured out thoug.
