Internet Access Problems Using Windows 10

hi i cannot shut down or restart my laptop ,every time i do when i log back in ive lost all my internet network access so all i do now is when turning off laptop i have press sleep button so i can access internet ...ive updated my drivers i go into control panel press networking and sharing then press private and the hide your internet button is always green dot i then press show internet turns to green dot but then reverts back to hide internet ????

Dunno how you found that plodr but he's certainly not getting much help.

@OP does this computer connect automatically to the net on startup, or do you have to do anything yourself to get connected? I'm only asking about the network icon in the system tray, not your web browser.
