   I am puzzling what and why it happen to my computer. When I start up my computer the tray icon 'internet access' seem finding the connection it goes round and round (the moving blue circle). After a while it turn to exclamation mark then it turn red X and finally it connected as normal. It is odd I believe someone can help. My OS. Win 7 ult. Thanks.

   Hi
   
   Is this a wifi connection or Ethernet?
   If wifi at times the PC is quicker then your router in trying to acquire the connection, hence the red X then an OK connection. It could also be due to what security software you have installed that boots with your PC, that could slow the connection process down.
   
   I could go into whats in your startup as below and this may give a clue.
