Internet and Networking only works in safe mode.

I'm having a very difficult problem. I'm unable to use my computer at all in full mode. Networking works for about 30 seconds then stops working in a normal boot into Windows XP. I can't update my antivirus software (I use Vipre) because of this issue. Networking only works when I use Directory Services Restore Mode and Safe Mode with Networking. I have no viruses or malware infections. I need help with this. I am unable to update my av software as a result of this problem and I love keeping it up to date for the sake of my computer's protection.

 

are you sure you not infected?? sounds like a tcip issue that has been wacked by a virus. down load a av boot cd and run that. i use avg boot cd catches everything so far and will update to the latest database
