internet closing

For some reason my computer wont go to certain web pages. It just closes out when i try to go to some pages. This is upsetting because we cant even look at the animated weather forecast on yahoo. The internet just closes out. It also closes out on Runescape and Atlas which are both internet games. Other websites with animated pictures, games, java, ect work. Just not a certain few. We have been trying to fix this for a very long time but now we have run out of options. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

You can access some websites, not all, but some...Maybe it's a DNS issue? Examined the hosts file yet? If no, search the computer for a file called hosts and open it in notepad. If the websites you cannot access are in the hosts file, delete them, and try again. For example, if you have five entries in your hosts file, leave the line 127.0.0.1, and delete the other four.
Just one of many ideas.

 

nope its not that.

we also have 3 internet browers. internet explorer , mozilla, and opera.

we have spyboy search & destroy as well.

we reinstalled windows but that didnt fix it. since we reinstalled windows My Documents pops up when you turn on the computer >.<

the internet still closes out some pages that we used to be able to go to.

try deleting Browser Helper Objects from Registry.
Goto START>RUN>REGEDIT and click OK.
Expand the Registry keys by clicking on the " + " next to each entries listed below::
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects
