Internet Connection Problem

At work we have a computer that we like to use for browsing the internet because it only uses Windows 98 and i used a network setup disk to set it up for the internet. It was working fine for about 5 days then all of a sudden stopped. I tried using the network setup disk again to reset it up to the network.... yet after running through the process the icon in the taskbar would only be there for a couple minutes then dissapear. When it was there it's status was connected but wasnt recieving or sending any bites. Any help would be greatly appreciated because im clueless. Also all cables are connected.

 

Are you or anyone in the office familiar with do the connection settings manually?

Reset the ethernet port and now all good...
