    Hello,

Lately I have been having problems connecting to the internet. I have Qwest DSL with MSN Premium service, and whenever I try to connect through the MSN browser it comes up with an error that says a connection cannot be detected. I can browse the internet through Internet Explorer though, but that is it. I have tried other browsers like Opera, but it won't work either. I've called technical support and they said everything was fine on their side, and everything should be working. I've checked all the cables to make sure they are hooked up right, all the lights are on and green that are suppose to be, I've checked my firewall to see if that was blocking anything and it's not. The only thing I found strange was on the back of my computer where the ethernet port is, the lights use to be green, but now they are red? My computer specs are Microsoft windows xp sp2 pentium 4 2.4 GHz 512MB ram.

    Thanks

If what you say is correct then you do have an internet connection. If IE can surf then MSN should be able to also, that's if it is configured properly. It sounds like it might be configured for a proxy or something and you can find that under internet options. OR.... IE may be set up for the proxy and MSN is not. If all else failed go with Fire Fox, I think youll be much happier.
