Guys, I need help with an internet connection problem. My computer had a virus and during the quarantine/delete process, I removed the drivers for my cd/dvd/modem/and network connection. I was able to use a flash drive to reload the OS. I have a Dell dimension 8300 and am running xp home edition (5.1.2600) upgraded to service pack 3. Everything is working properly with the exception of my internet connection. I can connect and surf, but the connection keeps dropping. When I go from one page to the next, I have to hit the refresh button several times. My windows network connection is Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection and the driver is the same. (8.0.47.0). I have downloaded and run EVEREST Home Edition and an area I'm not sure of is [Network Adapters/Direct Parallel]. The version is 5.1.2535.0 by Micrisoft. Anyway.......Help!!!!!!!! Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Welcome to MGs jeff6.

I would suggest using the drivers found HERE from Intel that were just released 4/1/2009.

I've been to Intel's website several times and the download didn't work when I installed it. You give me a link and it works. Who'da thunk it. Thanks, I knew I was in the right area, and I have no idea why it wouldn't work before, but I'm up and running now.
    Thanks again.
