Internet connection

Hi guys,

I just built a new computer, just installed windows, and now need to connect to the internet to update drivers etc.

BUT, I can't get online with the new computer. I'm using a cable modem. How do I set it up so I can get online?

All the lights on my modem are lit except for activity.

read the documentation that came with the hardware and software that your ISP sent you. it should tell you in there, if not, i would need a few more details, such as card model, windows version, ISP name, modem model, and type of cable service. these all play a factor here, so try to read all the documentation if you can.
