Internet email problem...

This is the main problem I have my internet email, "I can go onto any website in the world", but every time I try to login with my verizon, and my yahoo, and also my comcast email accounts I get a page can not be displayed error.

Somebody told me it may have something to do with the virus program blocking something, I do not know otherwise.
Please help me fix this main problem it is very important.

There is also another problem my friend was not supposed to do, he deleted the Norton IS 2006 directory and now I can not remove nortons from the system. Somebody told me there was a program you could use that would go into your system and find the virus program no matter if it was Nortons or Mcafee or others, this program would remove them, what is that program and where can I find it ?

Main problem solved by using the SYMNRT.EXE but, I am still looking for the program that can remove any virus program.
