I think it's the Flash screens. Not positive, but it seems when I'm using screens that have Flash cause IE to get slow and bogged down. The longer I'm on the pages the worse it get.
As an example when the pages get slow and I get to a section like this where I'm entering text into a 'message' field, there is a lag in the typing that takes about 10 seconds for the letter to appear. Then when it catches up the letters will type out real quick, then it will lag again.

This problem doesn't happen in IE-64 bit, which made me think it was Flash, since there is no 64bit Flash for IE.

    Hi

Try uninstalling Flash with this (grab the Windows uninstaller, top link), then install CCleaner and use its cleaner and registry cleaner to get rid of old files etc, then install the lastest version from here

Could also try IE with no-addons mode (found in Programs > Acessories > System Tools) and if 32bit IE works fine then as you rightly have suspected an add-on so disable all and test by enabling one at a time, instruction here
