Internet Explorer 6 or 7

I've been having a problem with my new Toshiba Laptop (Tecra M5) with xppro 1gm of ram, 100gb hd, etc.

Ever since i've owned it, IE 6 freezes up occasionally and won't unfreeze unless i alt-tab to a different window or maybe use ctrl/alt/del to bring up the task mgr, which also unfreezes the page (usually) Either way i do it, it doesn't automatically unfreeze the page, i usually have to swap pages or repeatedly bring up the Task mgr window to get the IE browser unstuck. It doesn't matter what page i'm viewing it just freezes by itself at no particular time.

I've had the hard drive, memory and mother board replace recently when the computer's HD died but i still have the same problem. In addition, i have just installed IE7 and i'm still having the same freezing page issue.

My processes aren't at 100% when this happens, infact, everything else still works just fine.

What could be the problem? I've never had this problem before and its been going on since i got the new computer at the end of last year.

I've owned 8-9 other Toshiba Laptops and have never had any issues with IE. I am using Firefox too, but some of the websites i use do not support Firefox.

Try using Dial-A-Fix (check all the boxes in the registration center) and/or IEFix (for IE6 only and you'll need your XP install CD). Both are free downloads availble here from Major Geeks!
