Internet Explorer 7 HELP!!!

Help!

I am having problems with my IE 7, it was working a couple of days ago and then all of a sudden it does not work. When I open IE the web page it says "IE cannot display webpage" and when I type in a web address it says "address not valid". I dont knwo what to do. I called Microsoft Tech Support and I swear I was talking to someone who has never seen a computer.

Is there some type of IE 7 repair kit? Please help! Anything helps.

You might roll back to a previous date when IE7 was working fine with the restore tool. You also might reset IE7 to its default settings : control pannel - internet options - advanced. Repair kits work fine for IE6, no heard yet the same for IE7.

 

Have you tried using another browser? I couldn't see the point, until I downloaded Firefox and Opera, to test how my web pages look - now I only use IE6 with those silly sites (like my bank, for goodness sake) that can't handle anything else.

I think at least the earlier version allowed your browser to be "identified as IE", maybe I should have chosen that option...

 

I tried all of that and it is still not working. I dont know what the hell to do!

If you experience the same issue with other browsers, IE7 may not be the culprit, it seems related to your connectivity. Did you try to ping a website and check out elapsed time and lost packets? Open up a dos prompt and tape in ping www. name of your provider, and wait to see if all the sent packets did loop back correctly.
