internet explorer 7 problems

I try to load pages on the web and they either go really slow or just not at all.. like just a plain white page with the loading bar at the bottom but wont load... I reformatted and it worked for about that day then started again.. any suggestions would be great.. thanks

Are you connected directly to your modem or is there a router? Also when that happens check and see if your actual internet connection goes out. You can easily do this by opening a command prompt (Start->Run and type cmd) and typing 'ping www.google.com' " (without the quotes).

Let me know all of that first.

 

runnin on a router... worked before.... and did the ping and it says it is working...
my other computer on the router also works fine

 

But internet explorer still goes out?

 

it just loads in a white page and takes forever..thats is when it does load sometimes it dont load at all jsut keeps acting like it is loading and then if i open a new tab one is ok but i try to have 3 open it kicks me out saying internet error.
