There are also many people like me that are having zero problems with IE7. Id be willing to bet there are more like me than not. You dont hear from us tho. By the way, my browser preferences got like this:
    1. Firefox
    2. Opera
    3. IE7
IMO IE7 is a vast improvement over previous IEs .

I like IE6 trying IE7 for several days, but I just decided to uninstall IE 7 it's too Buggy

I dont really like FF I do use it on occasion on another PC & at work

Ive testing out IE7 on one of my systems with brand new Fresh Installs of Windows, dual boot XP pro & on a second partition x64 ( both IE7 )( both OS Prime95 & 3d stable on a NF4, x2 4200 OCed to 2.5Ghz)
My first thought Nice improvements look great, I like it.

Many Web sites just dont work & Ive been experiancing IE crashes on both OSes
I've uninstalled IE7 glad to see it uninstalled fine & I'm back to IE 6 all web sites are fine & no more IE crashes

    I'd suggest waiting

Can you list some of these sites? Im curious now as I really haven't had a single problem with IE7. I should just let well enough alone, but Id really like to see for myself so I dont sound like some IE apologist. Frankly, Ive been very pleasantly surprised at the performance of IE7 as I was not expecting it.

Actually it was dozens of sites, I'll have to reload IE7 to be specific
I think most of the sites were links from Google & online retailers
One of the sites was Antec's PSU data base I was reasearching some PSU's via google links

IE would pop up page saying to check network connection bla bla bla
Similar to IE6 when there was no or if there was no Internet connection available
or I just get page unavailable
I have Home Network with 1/2 dozen PC's & two networked MFC's online some are connected 24/7 without issue

Clicking on help it would direct you to checking Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/ security, and suggested settings like enabling SSL 2.0 & 3.0 & TSL 1.0
None of the suggested changes made any difference

Another problem that occurred is I suddenly would get one of those MS error reporting alerts where you choose to send report or dont then IE would simply crash

With IE7 gone so are all the problems?

I just did Google search for "IE7 Problems"
Damm only 7 million 400 hundred thousand links:eek:
    I dont think I'm alone

I'll run IE7 again but it wont be for couple months or so

Holy crap. Ok you convinced me. I wonder how much of IE7 is built more for Vista than XP? Maybe stuff like error reporting works differently in Vista. Well at least we have a few other excellent alternatives in browsers these days.

Wonder why it is so many IE detractors even bother to try IE7 if they're so enamored with FF and the like. My suggestion for many of you who have web page problems with IE7 is to contact those sites and suggest they fix THEIR site to be compatible with 7. How many times have we seen people posting issues here with FF and other browsers. Quite a lot!
