Internet Explorer 8 Download Error

This message pop up when I was down loading Internet Explorer 8 "the procedure entry point SHRegValueW could not be located in the dyamic link library SHLWAP1.dill." can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks

The first thing that I would is to reinstall the current version of IE (probably 6 or 7). Once reinstalled, I would reboot and try to download/reinstall IE8 again.

And you accomplish this by uninstalling IE8, your box will automatically revert back to the previous browser, probably IE7.
