Internet explorer 8 installation on multicore machine solved

    I have had problems installing IE 8. I would be directed to a website to download a hotfix, but the fix was for service pack 2. I did not want to unistall my service pack 3. I tried disabling IME language service, I tried different KB articles. What finally worked, was disabling one of the cores in the bios, and then installing IE 8. Now I am going to restart my pc and enable both cpu's

    Everything seems fine. I know have IE 8 with both cores enabled.
