Internet Explorer 9 Error

Hi, Just yesterday I tried downloading Internet Explorer 9 and replacing my old IE browser, It downloaded successfully until I tried to open it. It would open to a regular IE browser page, but it would not be able to finish loading and I would get an Error message saying "Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working,"

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I am running on a Vista. I downloaded it as a 32 bit client. I am not sure what to do as I do not want to delete/replace the wrong files. I am currently using Chrome until this can get fixed. Hopefully you know what is wrong and can help.

I can not do a system restore because there is information that can not be lost on this computer that was put in place after a restore point, and It will not let me re-download Internet Explorer because it will say there already is a current version installed. I can not find where to delete the program (internet explorer). It would be very appreciated if someone was able to help me.

IE 9 is a beta, why download betas if your not sure how to handle problems? Anyhow, goto start click run then type appwiz.cpl and remove the ie9 that should be listed there, that should revert you back to ie8.
