:cryI keep getting this message. Well on mother in law's pc. Have run Adware SE, AVG, and SpyBot S & D. It is XP with IE7. Firefox works fine. Also have done all the resets and temp file deletes. Even reinstalled 7.0. STill same? What can I do now? I read a thread somewhere about "'re-Registered Internet Explorer DLLs'"? Didn't have much luck finding info though. Thanks

Click on file in IE and make sure "work offline" doesn't have a check/tick in front of it.

Checked that. I have no clue. There has to be a corruption of some sort.

I had similiar problem with IE 7 at one point. I simply uninstalled it & installed/used Mozilla Firefox instead...Install Mozilla first & then uninstall IE 7. That worked fine for me. The only thing you need to know after that...if you try it...is that Microsoft Updates recognizes IE 7 as a "Critical Update", so if you have Automatic Updates turned on, it will automatically reinstall it. Let me know if you need to know how to change your settings to avoid that, if you want to. Thanks & Good Luck!
