Internet Explorer crash

Internet Explorer goes wonky by displaying a number '6' in the toolbar boxes & all fonts in Windows Explorer change to bigger and bold. Slows right down & have to reconect. Now happens with Opera. Windows Me any ideas? pajamahead

 

Have you done a virus scan?

 

Does it happen all of the time? This has happened to me when my resource level dropped way down.

yea - I - just recently got rid of this: Comodo TTB BHO - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\TTBBHO.DLL -
{D80E1356-AC78-4218-961C-A7689B4CB7FE}

with a little help & using 'StartupList' and 'Hijack This'

this problem has not gone away but is much less frequent - there must be something else going on. It may be a lot of pages up so I use 'Close Program' to get rid of them. Not entirerly convinced but seems to work.. It's to infrequent now to draw any firm conclusions - pajamahead

 

Curious,how many programs that are "checked" do you have starting up?Go to Start /Run type in msconfig and hit enter.

 

Erm....just an idea, have you tried a spyware scan?
