Internet Explorer error- Please HELP!!!

Hi,

I have run the Malware and Virus programs as recommended and it did clean up the computer- Many THANKS!! When rebooting the computer, I seem to get a pop up window that states "Cannot find "file:///C:/WINDOWS/privacy_danger/index.htm'. Make sure the path of internet address is correct"

Could you please help me how to correct this and this also prevents me to restore my desktop or establish the background.

You may still have a malware problem (or a partial problem in that an infection has not been completely removed). If you have followed all the steps here and here post in the Malware forum where there are the clever folk.

You may want to check with the Malware team before doing the things in the second link.
