Internet Explorer Issue

Within the last couple of weeks, every time I go on to internet I get blipped off after a short time. My internet service (AT&T dsl) does not cut off. I had installed a VPN program to be able to connect to my computer at work, and thought this might be causing the problem. I uninstalled and did a system restore to before it was installed. No luck....still doing it. Operating system is Windows XP. I have also run my anti-virus and and spy ware programs, hoping this would help. Again, no luck. Help!!!!confused

I'm not sure what you mean by blipped off, since you say that the dsl is not cut off.

My dsl connection does not cut off, but interent explorer just totally kicks me off. It lets me get back on right away, but after a bit it does the same.

Download another browser either Firefox or Opera
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
http://www.opera.com/
and see if the other browser does the same. It is good to have more than one browser because if one starts to act up, you can determine whether it is the browser or something else on the computer creating the problem.

Also, what version of IE are you running?
