When using IE7,when I reach some web pages, the text on the bottom (task bar) flickers something fierce and the page is somewhat unsettled. Also when I try to click a link on that page, the page locks up. I attempted to read the flickering text and I believe this is what it says without quotes " waiting for javascript//static:Fake"fbd.net,connect/xd_proxy_phd?version3 " This is not an issue with FF nor Chrome. At this point they seem to be fine. I am somewhat of a novice , so I really don't know what to do. I Googled but to no prevail. Please help if you can.

I looked around and found this
The fake fbd.net might mean the wrong DNS numbers.

As far as the xd proxy phd thing, looking over that - people running skype or a facebook feed seemed to have problems.

Unfortunately, I do not use IE much (only for windows updates) and my installed versions are 8 and 9. I also do not use skype nor facebook so I can't help you with that.

If it were my computer, I'd update from IE 7 to 8 (stronger security) and see if the problem clears up.
