Internet explorer not opening up pages..

Hi, I've been using IE8 since it came on, with no problem, my laptop was running fine, then the other day when I went to go on a page, it took 5 minutes to load up the page and when I clicked to go to another page it took another 5 minutes to open and so on.
I closed down ran cc cleaner and opened up again, same as before, Ive run MSE and it did not find anything, downloaded from my desktop pc IE9 and put that on there still the same.
Put it in safe mode and it worked fine?
Ran DrWeb in safe mode, it did not find anything.

In normal mode it will not work, tried google chrome and that works fine, in normal mode..

Anyone know why IE will not work in normal mode?
Please help as not getting on with google chrome.
