    Greetings, sherry_lynn_ridgeway.

These symptoms coupled with the symptoms listed in your other thread indicate that you may indeed have some browser add-on that's causing the problem. Do your symptoms change if you perform either of the following?

    A. Boot your machine into Safe Mode with Networking

    B. When booted in Normal Mode, click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

What Security (as in antivirus applications are you using) please name all?

Is this just happening in Yahoo Mail or on other websites?

Have you tried IE in its Safe Mode, can find this in Start > Programs > Accessories > System tools and its Internet Explorer - No Addons and does your internet work ok.

Also boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) and choose Safe Mode with Networking and see if all is ok, if it is in safe mode, and not in normal mode then you have a virus or a errant startup application, which we will need to narrow down.

Also try another browser to test as in Firefox or Opera.

without info asked for in above posts, then its just a guess but its possible that you may need to update Adobe Flash and Sun Java, see below

reboot and see if all is ok.
