internet explorer preview

I was using a friends computer and when the mouse curser was over a link to another site (when you search for something and it gives you a bunch of options ) with the curser there it would give you a preview of the page before you go there. How do I get this option on my internet explorer. By the way I have internet explorer 9. Thanks

Just trying to work out the type of link you are talking about and if you click this one HERE and then look for the word Anti-Virus (in bold) in the below text and if its underlined in green put your mouse arrow over it and does a page window open

if thats what you are talking about then not all sites will use this type of advertising and you may not see if if your antivirus or security application has popup ad blocking. Was your friend also using IE9?

In regaurds to your quote about avg free, I am using AVG 2011 INTERNET. And your thumb picture is what I was talking about. the preview page. I am using igoogle but I am not getting a preview page. I am probably just being a pre- madonna but i liked the option of having the preview page. Is there some option that I need or should I use google chrome? And thanks for your time.
