Internet Explorer problem...

For some reason, my internet explorer address bar has disappeared. I have looked through the internet options and preferences, and can't find a way to turn it back on. any ideas?

 

Have you tried right clicking on an empty area up there and seeing if address bar is checked?

 

The entire address bar, links, everything is gone, all that's up there is the title boarder at the top of the window.

 

1. Press Ctrl+Esc keys, 2. change screen to higher resolution, (800x600 to 1152x864) , 3. boot into safe mode (press F8 while booting and choose safe mode). 4. Edit the registry

Try pressing F10 and see if it opens the standard buttons bar, then either use the mouse or maybe the arrow keys to navigate to the view drop down and check the options you need.

 

it was f11 to bring it all back, don't really know how it happened in the first place, I never touch those buttons. But thanx anyway.

 

Ahhhh, hitting F11 puts it into full screen, therefore you couldn't see it. Normally if you move the mouse pointer all the way up or down the screen it will come back in order to restore or navigate.
