Internet Explorer Problem

I'm running IE6 w/ Windows XP. For about a week now, I have been unable to connect to foxnews.com. As far as I can tell, this is the only site I cannot connect to. I do know that about that time, they changed the format of their site a little bit. I'm assuming my settings need tweaked to allow something they're running but I can't figure it out. Each time I try to connect to their site, I get the "Page cannot be displayed" message. I haven't had any problem connecting to any other site and I know that it's specific to my computer because I have others at work who can connect. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Since it is your computer at work, then I recommend you talk with the support function at your work.

But I guess you could try to clear the Temporary Internet Files cache:

 

Thanks for your reply. I already tried clearing my temp files/history/cookies. No luck. Computer techs here won't help w/ this sort of problem. Any other ideas?

 

Nothing showing up restricted. Is the new site running something funky that I might not have a setting checked that would do this?

 

If others, on their PC's at work, can logon to the site, and you can't on yours at work, maybe "they" have decided you are spending too much time on the site and have blocked you.

Can you logon to the site from your home PC or from a friends home PC. This should clarify what the workposition is. Beware BigBrother is always watching, sometimes "they" just don't tell you!! Bazza
