Internet explorer problem

Hey I was trying to uninstall the windows messenger from my friends laptop so she could use the new msn messenger when it seems I accidently uninstalled internet explorer. The shortcuts have gone from the desktop and the start menu and there is no way of loading the programme from the internet explorer folder. However I managed to get it going by loading the shortcut of a website so it obviously still exists somewhere. If anyone could help me restore the shortcuts and what have you it would be most appreciated. She is running XP. Cheers.

 

Did you run a search of the PC? If you find IE in the search just copy and paste the shortcut.

 

Yeah i managed to copy the shortcut off another user of the computer. It's still not 100% back to normal but it will suffice for her intents and purposes, cheers.
