Internet Explorer Problems

Ok. I have a friend who cannot sign in MySpace or his Email(although he can go on MSN).
This is what he gets when he tries to sign in his Hotmail account.

"The Microsoft Passport Network is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:

This site may be experiencing a problem.
The site may not be a member of the Passport Network."

And for MySpace when he tries to log in it says that he needs to be loged in to do that.

Help me Help him.

Oh. And he also says that when he visits his MySpace page it says.
"Your security settings do not allow websites to use active x controls installed on your computer."

 

ok, first off, clear your friends cookies and temporary internet files. Do this by going to tools ->Internet Options. Click the 'delete cookies' buttion to delete his cookies and 'delete files' button to delete his temporary internet files. Once you have done that keep the internet options box open and click on the 'securty' tab. Highlight the internet zone and then click the 'custom settings' button. When the security settings box pops up scroll down to 'Run ActiveX controls and plugins' and make shure it is set to 'enable'.
