Internet Explorer Problems

Ok here is the problem I am having a problem with a computer here that will not display any flash pages...(ex index_flash.html) I tried to reinstall flash but that did not seem to fix the problem.
as I said everything else seems to display just fine. I reset all of the defaults in internet explorer and this still did not seem to help..
if you could help that would be sweet

if its windows XP with SP2

go to Tools> Internet Options.

under the programs tab, click manage add ons.

Do you see the 'Shockwave Flash Object' make sure its enabled. and try the update button in there as well.

any help?

This computer has SP1 on it...is there another place to look to see if Flash is enabled?
I guess I don't look in these options to much
