Internet Explorer/Webpages/ aren't loading

Hello,

When I log on, I click on Internet Explorer and then windows freezes up. When I try to close windows, it won't close. Windows doesn't even respond. I have to hit Control + Alt + Delete everytime to bring up Start Task Manager in order to close any windows that I have open because they're all not responding. I don't know what else to do except maybe do a Full Windows Install. In the meantime, in order to surf the internet, I have to boot up in safe mode. I don't have any previously saved good system restore points
for me to load because the last system restore point has the same problems as I do now.

Hi Chris

Is Safe Mode working ok for IE and general PC usage?
What Windows do you have installed, plus Service Pack version?

If Safe Mode is working well, then you have likely malware or a 3rd party startup thats causing an issue or strain on your PC, so to rule out malware you'll need to go HERE (start a new thread in that malware area of the forum and attach the logs requested) and to rule out a startup, then follow the below and attach the log, but we may direct you to running the malware scans anyways, best to rule them out.

Run Ccleaner and click Tools > Startup and then click the Save to text file button at the bottom, Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

Hello David,

Thank you for your response. Yes, safe mode is working ok. I have Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.

Notice you have some toolbars. If you disable the toolbars, does that help with the problem? Also, you might want to turn off any addons you have in iexplorer:

Open IE->Tools->Manage add-ons->Disable any there to see if that helps
