How would I go about finding out which version of IE is installed in a particular PC? And is the procedure the same for all Windows versions? I'm mainly working with Win2k and XP.
    Thanks.

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. In the menu at the top of the page, click on "Help".
    3. Click on "About Internet Explorer".
    4. (You'll see something like the attached picture)
    5. Click on "Ok" or on the "x" to close the information window.

Are these directions what you are looking for?

Cool. I guess that will work. ;) Somehow, I thought there'd be more to it. I'm assuming this works for all versions of Windows too so it's pretty much exactly what I need.
    Thanks.
