Lately I've been updating computers at my school. I just wanted to know what gains do you get from going from version 5.x to 6. These are pretty old computers: 500 mhz processors with 128 mb RAM. Mircosoft says all these things about internet explorer 6 being so much better but I need an expert opinion. Would version 6 put to much strain on the computers?

IE 6 adds more support for newer web technology. Better support for CSS etc and I find that it works and loads faster than IE5.5. I really don't see any disadvantage to putting IE6 on the machines. Other than the fact that you can't put it on Win95, I'd say go for it.
