help needed...my IE7 has shut down. The browser opens, but will not connect to anything. Not favorites, not to anything in the address bar, and the internet options tab will not open. Do I have to delete it and reinstall? If so, where can I get the program?

I'm using a HP TouchSMART 300 pc With WINDOWS 7.

I'm having no trouble with my CHROME or FIREFOX browsers.

Hey moosedsm, did you try going into Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab, and click Reset Internet Explorer ??

The only link I could find for IE7 is for Windows XP. Since you're running Windows 7, you may want to update to IE 9 which is made for Windows 7.

    Here's the link:

You can get to Internet Options by going to ,, Control Panel - Network and Internet - Internet Options.

I'm not quite sure how you got IE 7 on the computer.
That could be the reason nothing works.

In fact, currently a Windows 7 computer should be running IE 9 or 10.
